    Presentation Synopsis:

Historically ISO 9001 Quality Management systems were implemented in isolation, externally validated as a badge of honour, seen in many cases as the minimum requirement. However, the Quality Management System, now closely aligned with Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Systems with the most recent updates in 2015, present a significant opportunity for companies to really integrate/cultivate a fully integrated Management System, based around the principles of Demings Plan Do Check Act Continuous Improvement cycle. Over the next 2-3 years all ISO registered companies need to transition their systems to comply with the latest version of the International Standard. Over the last 10 years in Ireland, we have also witnessed the growth in the utilisation of Lean techniques to facilitate business improvements, now an opportunities presents itself, with ISO compliance transition to fully integrate your Lean Systems with your ISO system in a fully integrated Management System, which adds value at every level. This presentation will highlight some specific opportunities for value adding integration
